Fairing blocks
FAIRING BLOCKS
Echonautics Fairing blocks
Excellent sonar performance at all vessel speeds.
Echonautics optional high-speed fairing blocks are custom engineered to work with both bronze and stainless-steel thru-hull transducers.
Mounting your transducer with a fairing block minimizes the effect the transducer has on the boat’sride at speed, ensures a vertical beam orientation and provides a flow of clean water across the transducer face for optimum performance.

Mix and Match Cables
TRANSDUCERS INTEGRATION
Mix & Match Adapter Cables
Easy integration with popular sonar systems
Echonautics transducers integrate with popular sonar systems (sonar, fish finder, echosounder) from leading manufacturers.
These mix-and-match adapter cables make it simple to integrate high-performance Echonautics transducers with popular sonar systems from leading manufacturers.
Echonautics transducers come with 8-meter/26-foot cables and standard 8-PIN Male connectors.
-
The standard connector connects to Koden sounders without the need of an adapter cable.
-
Mix and Match adapter cables are available to integrate with Garmin, Simrad, Lowrance, B&G, SI-TEX, other brand sounders.
> Integration Guide
CBCCMS0501 Adapter Cable
Male 8-PIN black box connector (Seiwa, SI-TEX, Lorenz, JMC, Polar, MPS and JRC-Europe FF-901)
CBCCMS0503 Adapter Cable
Female 8-PIN Garmin connector
CBCCMS0502 Adapter Cable
Male 9-PIN Navico connector (Lowrance, Simrad, B&G)
Retrofit & Upgrade Ready
The smart engineering-driven alternative
in Retrofit & Upgrade Installations
Echonautics transducers are designed to support retrofit and upgrade installations where performance, compatibility, and cost efficiency are critical — including sportfishing vessels, charter fleets, and refit projects.
Selected Echonautics models are dimensionally and electrically compatible with widely installed transducer formats, allowing straightforward replacement without hull modification.
Refer to the Retrofit & Upgrade Guide for detailed model equivalence.

How to choose the right tranducer for your activity
5 things you should look at
Sonar type
1.
|
|
Transducers are available for traditional CW (continuous wave) sonar as well as new generation CHIRP sonar, offering 5 times greater detail and resolution. |
Frequency
2.
|
|
Choose low (>80 kHz), medium (80 - 160kHz), or high frequency (150 - 250 kHz) according to your type of activity. The higher the frequency the best detail for shallow water., the lower the frequency, the better depth performance in deep water |
Power
3.
|
|
Choose the energy you can put into the water column, from 300W to 1KW, for different depth ranges. |
Mounting
4.
|
|
Choose Thru Hull or Thru-Hull with fairing depending on how important boat performance or sonar performance is to you. Thru Hull mounting gives the best boat performance reducing friction to the minimun, while Thru-Hull with fairing offers the most accurate sonar performance |
Material
5.
|
|
Bronze or stainless steel transducers? It is not possible to say which is the best material ever. This depends on the hull material. Stainless steel transducers are recommended for metal hulls, and bronze transducers for wooden hulls; either type may be installed in a fiberglass hull. |
